Homemade Pizza 12/14/08: Made Muffuletta Pizza with mozzarella and provolone cheeses and olive salad on sponge dough. Also made two small deep-dish pizzas from remaining dough with roasted garlic, olive tapenade, and mozzarella and provolone cheeses.
Uno's 11/26/08: Had a Farmer's Market deep-dish pizza (caramelized onions, spinach, sun-dried and plum tomatoes, eggplant, pesto, feta, mozzarella and grated Romano) at Uno's in Westminster CO.
Old Chicago Pizza 11/22/08: Had the Vegetarian Seven Deep-Dish Pizza
(fresh mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, red onions, roasted green chilies, tomatoes, and Mozzarella cheese) at Old Chicago in Broomfield CO.
Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria 11/8/08: Had the Abruzzo Pizza Napoletana (bufala mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, Gran Cru, Caciocavallo, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil) at Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria in Denver CO. Excellent pizza, probably best in Denver and only Colorado pizzeria currently certified by Verace Pizza Napoletana Association.
Bertucci's 11/6/08: Had the Lestina Neopolitan brick-oven pizza (prime white mushrooms, Romano cheese, fresh rosemary and sage, sun-dried tomatoes, sweet roasted garlic, and fresh mozzarella) at Bertucci's in Bel Air MD.
Uno's 10/31/08: Had a Chef's Choice deep-dish pizza (eggplant, Kalamata olives, anchovies, chunky tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese) at Uno's in Westminster CO.
Pizzeria Rustica 10/18/08: Had the Salumi (San Marzano tomatoes, sopressata salami, spicy fennel salami, and house-made mozzarella) on an artisan Neopolitan crust at Pizzeria Rustica in Colorado Springs CO. Again the pizza was excellent!
Homemade Pizza 10/12/08: Made a tomato-basil and roasted garlic pizza with parmesan and fresh mozzarella cheeses on sponge dough.

Pizzeria Rustica 8/14/08: Had the Quattro Formaggi (house-made mozzarella, sharp provolone, grand padano and fontina cheeses with parsley, roasted fresh garlic and olive oil) on an artisan Neopolitan crust at Pizzeria Rustica in Colorado Springs CO. The pizza, restaurant, and staff were exceptional and the best ever!!

Sauce 6/12/08: Had a white "thin-crust gourmet pizza" (Rosemary Potato, Spinach, Feta, & Olive Tapenade) at Sauce in Greenwood Village, CO. Sauce is a pizza version of Chipolte with very fast service at the walk-up order counter and very busy (loud) at lunchtime, and my pizza was delicious on the cracker thin crust.
Homemade Pizza 6/5/08: Made a Mediterranean Pizza pan-style with fresh spinach, mushrooms, black olives, feta and mozzarella cheeses, and pizza sauce on sponge dough. Also made three small deep-dish pizzas (two four-cheese and one Mediterranean) from remaining dough.
Uno's 5/30/08: Had a Spinoccoli deep-dish pizza (spinach, broccoli, chunky tomatoes, feta, cheddar, mozzarella and grated Romano) at Uno's in Westminster CO.
Homemade Pizza 5/20/08: Made Muffuletta Pizza with mozzarella and provolone cheeses and olive salad on sponge dough. Also made two small veggie pizzas from remaining dough with goat and mozzarella cheeses - a pan pizza style pizza and a deep-dish style pizza .
BJ's Brewhouse 4/29/08: Had the Spinach & Artichoke Deep-Dish Pizza (spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese and mozzarella topped with fresh Roma tomatoes, fresh basil and Parmesan cheese) at BJ's Brewhouse in Boulder CO.
California Pizza Kitchen 4/12/08: Had the White Pizza (combination of Mozzarella, Fontina, Ricotta, Parmesan and Pecorino Romano cheeses with fresh sautéed spinach and garlic) on a whole wheat pizza crust at California Pizza Kitchen in Broomfield CO.

New Pizza Appliance 1/5/08: Received email about a new pizza appliance, PizzaDome. PizzaDome is an electric table-top pizza oven with a clay dome for mini-pizzas (pizzettes) and perfectly designed for personal pizza parties.
